the situation

People who live in townships have limited access

to fresh, health bread. Low quality bread is available from spaza shops and in commercial malls.

the problem

LIMITED ACCESS

In order to buy health bread it is often necessary

to go outside of the townships where the price is higher and getting there incurs high transportation costs. This

gives people in townships very limited choices when

it comes to consuming and purchasing health

bread at reasonable prices.

our solution

MICRO-BAKERY FRANCHISES

Flour Power establishes home-based bakeries in townships. The innovation lies in providing people living in townships

with single phase, industrial ovens that can produce seventy two healthy

loaves per day, which they sell to

their community.
